Any vehicle that is placed on hold by the LASD must obtain a release from this agency, unless it is a stolen recovery. For LASD impounds with a hold, REGISTERED OWNER MUST OBTAIN A PROPERTY RELEASE IN ORDER TO REMOVE PERSONAL BELONGINGS FROM THEIR VEHICLE.
Before pick-up, County Release Fees (if applicable) must be paid at LASD.
